NATO representatives met Armenian defence officials and military education leaders in Yerevan to discuss changes to the country's military education system. The talks followed an assessment carried out through NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Programme.
The sides agreed to focus on doctrine, combined arms training, strategic leadership and personnel policy. NATO support also covers faculty development, language training, online learning and efforts to improve the professional education of officers and non-commissioned officers.
