NATO Special Representative for the Southern Neighbourhood Javier Colomina visited Geneva on 22 and 23 May. It was the first visit by a senior NATO official since the Alliance opened its liaison office to international organisations in Geneva in August 2024.
Colomina met representatives of Arab League members, NATO Allies, the United Nations and humanitarian organisations. He also spoke at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy about NATO's Southern Neighbourhood Action Plan and cooperation with partners in the Middle East and Africa before the Summit in The Hague.
