NATO took part in activities at World Expo 2025 in Osaka from 2 to 12 August. The Alliance worked with member countries that operated national pavilions during a week focused on peace, human security and dignity.
Events covered cyber security, hybrid threats, false information, women, peace and security, new technology and cooperation with industry. NATO also presented work from its Science for Peace and Security Programme.
NATO was not an official Expo participant. Its programme was supported by Japan's mission to NATO and coordinated through Norway and Romania, which served as NATO contact point embassies in Japan.
