The Netherlands agreed to finance the first package of United States military equipment for Ukraine under NATO's Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List. The package was valued at more than $500 million.

The planned delivery included artillery, ammunition and other equipment identified by Ukraine as urgent. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said additional members were expected to join the funding arrangement.

The initiative followed an agreement between Rutte and United States President Donald Trump on 14 July. NATO's support command in Wiesbaden was assigned to coordinate and validate regular packages with Ukraine and the United States.
