Sebastien Lepers Appointed Chair of NATO Audit Board

The North Atlantic Council appointed Sebastien Lepers as Chair of NATO's International Board of Auditors for a two year term that began on 1 August 2025.

Lepers previously worked in the French Ministry of Defence and at France's Court of Audit. His experience includes public purchasing, finance, logistics, internal control and audits of government programmes.

The International Board of Auditors reviews NATO accounts and the use of common funds. Its work supports financial oversight, transparency and accountability across the Alliance.
