NATO recognized Ukraine's 25th Military Police Training Centre in Lviv as a NATO Partnership Training and Education Centre.
The centre will share lessons from Ukraine's combat experience and develop military police courses with NATO institutions. It already works with the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence and the NATO Ukraine training centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
The NATO training network was created in 1999 to improve professional education and cooperation among Allied and partner forces. Ukraine was already represented through its International Peacekeeping and Security Centre.
