The European Union and Azerbaijan held their sixth Security Dialogue in Brussels, continuing exchanges on regional and international security issues.

The meeting allowed both sides to discuss developments affecting the South Caucasus, broader regional stability and areas where security-related communication remains important. The format provides a channel for structured dialogue even where political differences remain.

The EU has an interest in stability, connectivity and conflict prevention in the South Caucasus, while Azerbaijan remains a significant regional actor. Security dialogue offers a framework for addressing risks and maintaining contact on sensitive issues.

The sixth meeting confirmed that Brussels and Baku intend to keep security discussions active as the region adjusts to changing geopolitical conditions.
