The European Union and the United States published a joint statement setting out elements of their transatlantic trade and investment relationship following intensive economic discussions.
The document addressed market access, tariffs, investment and strategic economic cooperation, with both sides presenting the transatlantic relationship as one of the world's most important commercial partnerships.
EU officials said implementation would require continued engagement and stressed the importance of predictability for companies, investors and supply chains operating across the Atlantic.
