The European Union announced EUR 700,000 in humanitarian assistance for civilians affected by fighting along the Thailand-Cambodia border.
The funding was intended to support emergency relief for people displaced or otherwise affected by the violence, with assistance focused on immediate humanitarian needs.
The EU said humanitarian support would be delivered according to needs and humanitarian principles while diplomatic efforts continued to reduce tensions between the two countries.
