Allies announced plans to invest more than $40 billion in counter-drone capabilities over five years and to significantly expand the number of trained drone operators.

NATO also plans a counter-drone marketplace for tested and compatible systems, while multinational training arrangements will be expanded to include drone operators. The initiative reflects the growing role of uncrewed systems in modern warfare.
