Seven NATO Allies launched a multinational project centered on the Airbus A400M military transport aircraft at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum.
The initiative follows a pooling-and-sharing model intended to reduce costs and improve operational flexibility. Participants can cooperate on procurement, logistics and training while strengthening NATO's ability to move forces and equipment.
