Secretary General Mark Rutte urged defence companies to increase production and innovation during a transatlantic industry event at NATO Headquarters.
Rutte said higher defence budgets must result in combat-ready capabilities and argued that stronger defence industry supports security, economic activity and employment across the Alliance.
