NATO opened applications this spring for a new round of six-month paid internships at its Brussels headquarters, with positions set to begin in either March or September of 2026.

The program is open only to citizens of NATO member countries, and spans a wide list of fields — political affairs, defense and security, innovation, operations, communications, human resources, finance, and science and technology. NATO pitched the internships as a chance to work alongside international experts while contributing directly to alliance business, with eligibility and compensation details published on its own site.

Applications closed on 22 June 2025. This dispatch is filed for the archive after that window shut, with the internships themselves proceeding on schedule.
