NATO Military Committee Chair Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone spent four days in the United States this month, meeting military, political and civil-society figures across a schedule built around the alliance's biggest security questions.
He attended the Munich Leaders Meeting, where officials from Europe and North America worked through current geopolitical developments, telling the room that alliance unity and mutual trust are what make deterrence credible in the first place. The visit also included a strategic dialogue with NATO's Indo-Pacific partners and the Allied Warfighters Talks at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where discussion turned to deterrence, capabilities and interoperability among allied forces.
Cavo Dragone paid his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery during the trip, closing his visit by thanking the United States for its role in allied deterrence, defense and stability.
